Ecotourism is welcomed in Ikh Nart! The reserve offers visitors the opportunity to see rare Argali Sheep from relatively close distances, encounter other wildlife ranging from foxes to gazelle, and view a large diversity of migrating birds that stop over in Ikh Nart during spring and autumn months. Several archeological sites with rock art, burial sites, and destroyed buddhist monasteries also exist in the reserve.
At the moment, no year-round eco-tourist facilities are available. However, Nomadic Journeys tour company plans to contruct a ger camp for visitors in 2008. A small ger camp called Khalzan on the northwest edge of the reserve also offers some accommodation during summer.
